The Grow Project

To help my brother promote his project in China, which is to create a centre of excellence for blueberry growing. I was put in charge of social media to promote the crowd funding project. I maintained a Twitter feed which I used to find publications to send press releases and was used to tweet interesting facts about blueberries. The Facebook page used a similar strategy.

The crowd funder has finished and was not successful. We will now aim our interests at the Chinese public instead.

Varsity 2013

For the Annual Varsity event between the Lincoln and Derby university I went to the Lincoln Riseholme Campus coverage on behalf of The Linc and reported the events from the men and woman football events. I text scores, anything worth of note and took photos of the game. This was put into a live blog:

CamJam 2013 coverage

On the weekend of the 9th and the 10th of March, I covered the University of Lincoln's CamJam event in which teams spend a weekend creating a game centred around a theme. N3rdabl3 columnist

I now write a column for a tech and 'nerd stuff'' website called N3rdabl3 (Nerdable) which is about comics. In this column, I address issues in the industry and try to offer a different perspective on the medium. I talk mostly about superhero comics and try put a positive outlook on the issues of negativity. I will look at obscure work and focus on ways to get people interested into the medium.

Volton story as an online article

Through Toy TMA I used the research I did for my Voltron radio piece and wrote a print based article. I was able to use pieces I had to cut from the radio version due to time constraints. This article is written to appeal to a wider audience so it doesn't have any reference to the University of Lincoln Anime Society.
